Saamya Yadav
Student Researcher
About
Saamya is a first-year bioengineering student at UCLA, who has found an interest in drug delivery and its enormous possibilities to inform therapeutics through previous research pursuits, specifically in the application of CRISPR. Now, as a student researcher at DDL, she's excited for the opportunity to work on synthetic exosomes to deliver drugs that bypass the BBB. After graduation, she hopes to continue her involvement in research while pursuing an MD to help people regain mobility as an orthopedic surgeon.
Outside of the lab, she loves trying new cuisines, restaurants, and cafes, while playing badminton and tennis recreationally.
